Ross Golf Club Ladies' held their flag competition on Tuesday, October 6th. The winner is the one who has the the most shots left on the 18th with their handicap. She then proceeds down the 1st and places the flag where her last shot was.
This year's winner with a nett 69 was Denise Laird who got to the first green with the flag. Second was Vicki Flowers with nett 71.
The monthly EWGA medal was played on Tuesday October 13th. Among the large number of entries the winner was Doreen Godsall with a nett 71, second was Frances Nightingale with a nett 72, and on countback, Margaret Davis was third, also with a nett 72. The Ladies Nine Hole Competition was won by Elspeth Metcalfe, second was Audrey Marfell, and third Pam Grejar.
