Everyone says the world is getting smaller and the way we live in Ross-on-Wye can not only affect our next door neighbour, but someone who is living thousands of miles away. Even small changes to our own lifestyle, can make big improvements to the lives of our neighbours at home and overseas. We can make living on planet earth more sustainable. Plastic waste is a hot topic at the moment and the congregation at Weston Under Penyard Church is organising a special talk about rubbish.

Everyone is welcome to see how we can help ourselves, others and our planet,with special guest speaker May Bull, from the international aid agency Tearfund. There will be an all age quiz, a lively PowerPoint Presentation and a pop up shop to buy sustainable goods, as well as children’s activities and lunch.

A lunch of hot soup with bread and cheese will be served during the event, followed at the end by coffee and puddings. Donations (after expenses) will go to Tearfund for their ongoing work.

All are welcome to this special Café Church event at 11:45am - 12:45 on Sunday, September 29th at Weston Village Hall HR9 7PA (just round the corner from Weston School).
