Dear Editor

I would like to say a very big thank you to all the lovely people who volunteered to work hard and spread cheer on Christmas Day at the Larruperz Centre. It was truly magical. The atmosphere was lovely, it really felt like Christmas and made you feel that this is what Christmas is all about, being with people and coming together.

We all had hats on, pulled crackers and even had a sing-song. A lovely lady sang at the end and she was great. Even the Mayor of Ross came. I had a wonderful chat with her about my ideas for the homeless as I am one of the many I know. I really thought she took my ideas seriously.

I met some lovely people, it really was a fantastic day. Please let me once again share my gratitude from the heart to the people of Ross who gave their Christmas Day to spread cheer to others, especially Skyla and his mum, Debs, who were fantastic, as well as all the others.

From the very grateful homeless,

Helen, Nick, Andy and Micky
