Dear Editor

May I thank the other candidates in last week’s Ross North election. Their vote was affected by the national problems of their parties and was not a reflection on their talents and abilities.

May I also thank the 547 people who voted for me.  It is a humbling experience to see that so many people have made the effort to vote and put their trust in you.  I will continue to do my very best for Ross and particularly the people in the Ross North area.

I am sure I will make some mistakes and be knocked back in the next few years.  But I will not stop talking to you, listening to you and representing you to the best of my ability.
