Dear Editor

I would like to convey my huge thanks and appreciation to the lovely people who helped my Mum, when she had an accident at the Christmas Fair on Sunday.

A group of gentle, kind, quick thinking people took such good care of her.  Particular thanks to the gentleman who caught her head so effectively and the young lady who provided a very restorative cup of tea.  Thanks also to the First Responder, who was there so quickly and who ascertained that all was well.  Mum is fine and also very appreciative.

Thanks to everyone involved with the Fair – what a lovely event. There was such an array of stalls and a very positive atmosphere.
