I would like to express my appreciation to those concerned in the production and performance of this very special event that took place in St Peters Church, Peterstow on Friday 16th November.

Almost 100 people had the absolute privilege of seeing extremely talented local thespians and musicians transport us back to the final years of the First World War, with a wonderful, poignant heart rending production illustrating the effect of the war on the lives of parishioners.

The magnificent seven who sacrificed their lives and are honoured on Peterstow memorial could not have been given a more fitting tribute.

On behalf of my great-uncles the Ryder brothers, I send my absolute thanks.
