Dear Editor
After 34 years of waiting, it has now been announced that plans to build the Hereford bypass have now been paused.
This is not a pause, it is a full stop. How can it be that after all this time a decision has still not been made?
To say that this is just a pause is an insult to residents. I find it beyond belief that Hereford is still one of the only places left without a bypass. It is upsetting to think of the amount of tax payer’s money that has been wasted - what were they doing?
