A licence application for Jacqueline’s Nightclub on Brookend Street, Ross-on-Wye has been granted.

The owners had applied for permission to extend the opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays, which are currently 11am until 2am, until 3am.

They have also asked for permission on Bank Holiday Sundays, New Year’s Eve and Christmas Eve to stay open until 2am

The licence holders confirmed in their application that they have a strict door policy. They check the ID of anyone who looks to be under 21 and they employ security stewards. They have a smart dress code and 24 hour recording CCTV.

They said they were asking for an extension of one hour on a Friday and Saturday night so that they can compete with other venues in other towns.
