The Christmas season is a time when many of us remember family, friends and colleagues we have lost.
There is an opportunity to honour that memory during the “Light up Life” service, which is arranged on behalf of St Michael’s Hospice by Churches Together in Ross & District. This year the service will be held at Christ Church, in Edde Cross Street, at 6.30 pm on Sunday December 2nd. The service takes the form of a series of readings, prayers, carols and a talk. It will be followed by Tea / Coffee with an opportunity to look at the book of remembrance.
Churches Together are delighted to be able to work together in making this opportunity available for the people of Ross and to help the ongoing work of St Michael’s Hospice. The acting Chair of Churches Together, Dawn Bradford, looks forward to meeting those who feel they are helped by this time of remembering.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
