ROSS Lions Club members have already started talking about Christmas, and one thing they decided to do was to help the Ross Town Council with the Christmas Fayre in November.

The Town Council events committee had applied for a grant to the Lions Club to provide first aid cover. The Lions are keen to make sure everyone is safe at the event and so they have made a donation to the Council in order to help them make provision for first aid.

This will be provided by the Community First Responders and Councillor David Ravenscroft who presented the cheque to Councillor Mayo on Monday, September 11th, said that they are a marvellous organisation. He said that the grant from the Lions will help support them but also ensure that the Christmas Fayre takes place as it is such a popular event.
