Stalwart volunteers who want to impress visitors to the town took part in a litter pick on Sunday, September 4th. The small, but enthusiastic group met at Edde Cross House in Ross-on-Wye and cleared much of the rubbish from the Rudhall Brook, including a television set.
This group of regular litter pickers do their best to supplement the work carried out by Ross-on-Wye Town Council’s employees and are disappointed when they hear other residents complaining about the amount of litter around the town.
They say that the best solution would be for people to stop dropping their rubbish wherever they like and take it home with them. They add that until more civic-minded people do this, there will be more regular litter picks arranged.
