the Twitter campaign, #Rosshour, which takes place every Tuesday evening is continuing to attract new users. The idea behind Ross Hour is to unite the community through social media and is a great way for local people to highlight the shops, services and events Ross has to offer. #Rosshour takes place every Tuesday evening at 7pm. Anyone with an interest in Ross can tweet using the hashtag, perhaps with a special offer in a shop, a charity event, or just to promote the town and its' wonderful beauty. It is a great way for busy people to network. As part of our work experience with the Ross Gazette we visited some of the business around the central Ross area. We asked them a few simple questions about their use of social media. We asked if they have a website for their business and if they use Facebook or Twitter. We asked if they are aware of Ross Hour and if they have taken part or would consider joining in, in the future. Read full report in this week's Gazette.
