MADAM, I visited the Malvern Autumn Show recently and had a conversation with a representative of the Marcher Apple Network, which aims to conserve our local apple varieties for posterity. It turns out that they are looking to trace a variety raised in the 19th century at Kynaston, 'March Pippin'. I was asked if I could find out if anyone knows anything about this variety in the Ross area. If you know anything about this variety or even have a tree or an orchard, or just to find out more, please contact them direct through their website, http://www.marcherapple.net/index.htm">www.marcherapple.net/index.htm
