Ross-on-Wye runner Luke Beard is helping a Hereford charity in more ways than one.
The keen runner will be taking part in various sporting events and raising funds to ensure The Little Princess Trust can keep providing wigs to children who have lost their hair due to cancer while also funding research into less toxic treatments.
And he will be doing so in a branded Little Princess Trust (LPT) running top which he received from charity founder Wendy Tarplee-Morris and charity chief executive Phil Brace this week.
The charity thinks the account and sales director at Dawley Services in Ross will really stand out as he hits the streets in the purple colour and help the LPT shine a light on the work they do.
The Little Princess Trust is also speaking to Dawley Services about ways the two can work together to ensure others running and cycling for the charity can follow Luke’s lead and wear the branded kit.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
