MADAM, The Macmillan Cancer Support group held its Christmas Quiz at Ross Bowling Club on November 29th. There was a record turnout, and festive headgear was the order of the day. Members of the committee provided mince pies, and Ross Bowling Club made the group very welcome.
The total for the evening was £329, and this was a good finale to a successful year of fundraising. The Ross group would like to thank everyone who has contributed in any way this year, and report with pleasure that the topping out ceremony for the new Macmillan Renton Unit in Hereford has taken place, and the unit should be open for treatment next spring.
