The Ross Gazette has received information that the Courtyard has been given a notice to quit from Ross-on-Wye Town Council; the Made in Ross art collective must vacate the Market House by November 10th.

An extraordinary meeting of the town council took place on Wednesday, July 29th; the town councillors voted unanimously to ask the Town Clerk to enter into negotiations with the Courtyard, to discuss the establishment of a different legal contract, as the current ’Licence to Occupy’ arrangement between the parties was considered a "dangerous document" by the Town Council’s solicitors. "A more appropriate arrangement was needed", according to Cllr Harry Bramer, Chairman of the Management Committee.
