Mamie has been the loving, and much-loved companion of her owner for several years. She came from Help For Cats, the Ross-on-Wye-based cat rescue charity. They rescued her from a life of neglect and ongoing hardship. Unhappily the elderly lady, her owner, has now become too ill to care for her and has herself been taken into a care home.

No longer a young cat, Mamie is now in great need of a loving, secure home, perhaps with a single, retired person. At the moment she is bewildered by the sudden loss of the person she loved.

Dr Audrey Matheson of Help For Cats is hoping that someone will come forward to help Mamie. Who will take her into their home and give her the love and care she so clearly misses and needs.

With older cats, Help For Cats undertakes to pay veterinary expenses for non-routine health problems and to assist with the cost of routine matters.
