A man appeared in court on Tuesday charged with burgling two well-known local buildings in Ross-on-Wye.
Andrew Murdoch, aged 39, of Henry Street, Ross, faced charges of burgling Ross Library and the Y Zone youth centre.
The library was broken into between August 20th and 22nd and petty cash, video games and DVDs were stolen as well as documentation that was later recovered from the River Wye.
The Y Zone, in Hill Street, was broken into in the early hours of Monday, September 26th and cash and electrical equipment were stolen.
Murdoch was charged yesterday by West Mercia Police and put before Hereford Magistrates' Court where he was bailed to appear at court at a later date.
