An 81-year-old man has died after being in collision with a car in Gorsley, near Ross-on-Wye.

The incident occurred shortly before 6pm on Sunday, December 30th when the man, a pedestrian, was in collision with a Mini on the B4221.

The Mini is believed to have been travelling in the direction of Gloucester.

The man, a local resident, was sadly declared deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

Emergency services were called and the road was closed while the incident was dealt with.
