MADAM, May my wife and I, through these pages, say a big thank you to the Ross Gazette for the tickets we won to the Festive Fair at the NEC last weekend. We had a great time at the show and got some lovely Christmas bits and pieces. A very enjoyable trip. Many thanks.

MADAM, I would like to say a big thank you to all the people who donated so many good items to sell from furniture to clothing and also their time as volunteers. People never cease to amaze. If you fancy helping us we are really short of gents to help, various shifts are available and many different jobs to match your skills. We offer the chance to meet new people, have fun and above all help a good cause. Pop in and see us, if not to volunteer, to view the warehouse. We open from 9.30am till 4pm.

MADAM, Last Saturday we were once again carol singing in the Maltings and collecting for the Air Ambulance. I am pleased to report that we raised £307. A wonderful amount in a short time. A heart felt thanks to the people and shoppers of Ross who passed by during those two hours and gave so generously to a very worthy cause. Many thanks. Our next engagement is a Christmas Concert on December 8th 7.30pm at the Bailey Lane End Methodist Church where we shall be singing Christmas favourites and will be joined by the Bailey Carol Singers.
