READERS will have noticed that the recently restarted clock on top of Ross Market House is not telling the correct time. In the week since it was put back in the attic above the Heritage Centre, it has gained ten minutes.

Staff at the Heritage Centre have told the Gazette that specialists for JB Joyce, the Shropshire-based firm responsible for the clocks £6,000 overhaul, will have to return to Ross to readjust the mechanism although it has been deemed too expensive to ask them to make a special visit, so the fix will have to wait until they have another job in the local area.
