Members of Ross Town Council agreed unanimously to accept Mary Sinclair-Powell's offer to re-open the Market House until a permanent tenant can be found. At the Town Council meeting on Monday, May 12th the town clerk, Denise Mason, reported that the Courtyard is keen to continue negotiations to move into the Market House but it will take three or four months after a formal approach is made for a decision. In the short term, Denise said that Mary would be happy to re-open the Market House as a temporary Tourist Information Centre and she is working on developing a rota of volunteers to enable her to be open as much as possible starting on Bank Holiday Monday, May 26th.
