It is hard to imagine on a day like today, when it is wet and miserable, that six years ago the streets of Ross-on-Wye were filled with hundreds of people enjoying a warm spring day.

Crowds of people thronged the streets to welcome the Olympic torch to the town as it made its way around the country prior to the Olympics, which here held in London in 2012.

Many people must have warm memories of that occasion and the amazing way the community came together to witness the passing of the torch through Ross.
