There will be a public meeting on Wednesday, November 18th, at the Larruperz Centre from 6pm, discussing mental health and wellbeing provision in Ross-on-Wye.
The meeting is open to everyone. It will be hosted by Phil Shackell from Herefordshire Council, who is opening a pilot scheme focused on Ross.
The primary aim of this pilot is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the population. It aims to influence the commissioning intentions for both the Clinical Commissioning Groups and the County Council.
The meeting will provide the opportunity to have your say and is based on the belief that more emphasis needs to be placed on keeping people mentally healthy and avoiding the need to access formal mental health services.
The pilot will explore whether mental health providers can work in a more integrated and less formal way across the Ross area.
