Madam, Due to adverse weather conditions the Fete which had been advertised at Merton House on July 8th had to be cancelled.

The Committee has tried to arrange another date without success. However, those people who bought Draw tickets which were on sale on the day of the Town event in May can be assured that the Draw will take place.

The Lord Mayor of Birmingham is due to visit Merton House on Thursday, September 20th and it has been decided to ask him to make the draw on that day. All winners will be notified.

We are sorry for any inconvenience and hope to have better weather for next year's Fete.
