Madam, I am delighted to see 'milestone' is restored at Ryeford, and I am very grateful to the Parish Council for their efforts. I asked many times during my time as a parish councillor for this to be done.

Unfortunately the wording is wrong, it should be 'To Gloucester 13 miles. To Hereford 17 miles'.

My parents moved to Ryeford in 1911 and it was in position then and I am still in the parish. Thanks.
