Some good bowling by Sam Quinlan and Josh Element suppressed the opening pair who were both caught off Angus McIntyre's bowling by Tom Gardner and Dewi Wilcox respectively. Further wickets fell. Josh Smith added a spirited 8 before being bowled by Dewi Wilcox and 22 runs were added by Dan Eggerton before being run out.
Good bowling from Nathan Powell, Tom Gardner, Billy Kibble and Robbie Stonadge held the visitors to a score of 103. In reply, opening for Ross Tom Gardner (30 retired not out) and Angus McIntyre (15) set a good pace. Sam Quinlan was dismissed to a fine catch by Tom Richards and Nathan Powell was stumped by the much more experienced Dan Eggerton. Robbie Stonadge (22*) and Konrad Hohendorf (6*) saw the home side to a victory with 4.4 overs remaining from the allotted 20 overs.
