Last week the news that Tesco is planning to apply for planning permission to turn a site behind Morrisons into a new supermarket and petrol station sparked debate as people came out in favour or against the idea.
However this week the Ross Gazette has learned that Tesco is not the only supermarket with plans for Ross.
Helical Retail, a well established development company has acquired the site of a former store and hopes to announce a supermarket partner within the next few weeks.
