Much Birch Primary School hosted a fantastic Art Day last week. The cultural theme involved the children taking part in a range of activities inspired by different countries across the globe. The children travelled from Australia to India, Britain to Africa and even Japan and Mexico.
Everyone threw themselves into the fantastic artwork to create beautiful African pieces, exquisite Henna tattoo patterns, accurate observational drawings, stunning aboriginal art and tricky origami structures. Big doodle projects, cave painting, mindfulness colouring and blossom making were also some of the activities on offer for children and parents to try.
The school is very grateful to Tudors Builders Merchant, Hereford who donated the board for summer forest schools project and to those children and parents who donated resources for the art day.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
