Team members at Mulberry Foster Care, which has recently moved from Hereford to Phocle Green, have raised £1000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital through raffles, a quiz, and donations from local companies which culminated in an evening of fun on March 30th.
A spokesperson for Mulberry Foster Care said: “We’d like to thank everyone who took part in our quiz night. A fun evening spent with wonderful people, and we raised a few pounds.”
The local individuals and businesses who chipped in with donations and vouchers included Ross Garden Store, No.3 Restaurant, Personal Trainer, Danie Ward, from Ross Health and Fitness, Martin Lalor of Inspire Software Solutions and the town’s Morrisons, Aldi, and Sainsburys.
Mulberry owner, Shaun Burnett, told the Ross Gazette that the team chose Birmingham Children’s Hospital not just because of its national significance, but because of its personal importance to the Foster company, and the children that it works with.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
