Christ Church on Edde Cross Street has just embarked on another ‘Pilgrim Line’ series of services. The theme is the NEST which stands for Nurture, Everyone welcome, Sprituality and Transformation. The congregation is making plans for the future through this mission statement.

The first service on April 29th was led by the Revd Martin Hardy of Hereford. The focal point of the worship ‘in the round’ is a NEST made from hedgerow branches.

Through music, drama, story-telling and reflection, each week’s worship is different, having a variety of ingredients. Taking part in dramatic presentations are Pat Dazeley, Sheila Jenkins and Anne Whiteley (pictured standing alongside the Revd Hardy)

The series culminates on Pentecost Sunday on May 20th. The series is being co-ordinated by the Revd Glyn Jenkins.
