MADAM, I would like to thank the organisers of the first Ross-on-Wye 10K Fun Run. I realize how much work went into organising the event, which was well organised. There are very few – if any – running events in Ross, and I am sure that most serious joggers and runners love to participate in runs, and to receive a medal for doing so. It does not matter what age a person is, to achieve, in an event such as this, is a great morale booster.

The marshals deserve high praise for sticking to their posts in such an efficient manner, and with such cheerfulness, in the inclement weather. Thank you to them all.

As you will know I used a walking stick to negotiate the brook. Imagine my surprise to find it returned to me today.

Many thanks to the Marshal. I hope for the sake of Ross runners that the event will take place annually. I am sure the event will become very popular.

Thank you once again for all the hard work that went into the into the 10K run. I send my best wishes.
