Denise Strutt has replaced Karen Frost as joint chair of trustees at John Kyrle High School. She will work alongside Jon Sanger in this capacity.

Denise and headteacher, Nigel Griffiths, worked together closely for many years when Denise was headteacher at Whitecross High School in Hereford. Denise was originally invited to join the board of trustees a few years ago and Mr Griffiths is very pleased that she has been elected as joint chair.

Karen Frost remains as a trustee at the school. She has been involved with the board for almost all the time that Mr Griffiths has been headteacher since September, 2000.

Karen was vice chair, then chair of governors for ten years or more and has been joint chair with Jon for the past two years. Karen’s work has been pivotal in many ways, including the school gaining multi-specialisms and academy status. Karen will remain on the board as chair of the personnel committee.
