Herefordshire Council has approved the introduction of No Waiting at Any Time parking restrictions at the junction of the U70419 Church Road and C1273 Ross Road, Brampton Abbotts, Ross-on-Wye.

A request was made by the Parish Council in November 2013 for parking restrictions in this area to be considered, and after several consultations this is considered to be the best solution to the problems of visibility and manoeuvring during drop off and pickup times of the adjacent nursery.

The formal TRO process was started last year and an initial consultation letter was sent out in January 2019 informing them of the parking restriction proposals and the current proposals were supported the police and Oakhouse Nursery. The Parish Council also welcomed the proposal however they wanted the No Waiting at Any Time restriction extended for the entire length of the nursery, on the southern side of Church Road.

The cost for the implementation of the new restriction is £5,600. This includes costs for statutory consultation, preparing and making new a TRO, signage and advertising.
