Ross Town Council has confirmed that a piece of the new play equipment at the Ropewalk playground has already been damaged.
The Ropewalk playground was only re-opened in November and has been a popular addition to Ross with many parents posting positive comments online about how much enjoyment their young children have got from the new playground.
However a multi-spring rocker sand raft was damaged during the festive season, when a wooden base built to replicate a roof structure was broken. With the lack of structural support making the equipment potentially hazardous to children, the piece of equipment was promptly taken off and removed to be fixed.See the full story in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here
