The Mayor, Councillor John Edwards, cut the ribbon to officially open the latest fundraising shop at 44 High Street on Saturday, July 25th.
This shop will be open for four weeks to raise funds to buy new sound equipment for the theatre groups at the Larruperz Centre and for Ross Preschool Playgroup to buy new outdoor equipment.
On opening the shop the Mayor wished the organisers June Pearce and Iris Price every success and thanked Nigel Lewis for the loan of the premises.
He also praised the volunteers who were freely giving their time to man the shop and thanked everyone who had donated goods to sell.
