Ever since the NatWest Bank branch office closed in Ross-on Wye last year speculation has been rife about what this prestigious building in the centre of town, could be used for.
Many suggestions have been made, including a strip club or a charity shop. However, many thought it would make an ideal location for a McDonald’s fast food restaurant, and several people have said they understood that it was being bought by the company which runs the popular Estero Lounge in Monmouth.
The Ross Gazette contacted Loungers, the company which runs Estero Lounge, as well as several other Lounges around the country, and the Director’s Assistant told the Gazette that: “in this instance it is not us.”
The Gazette also contacted McDonald’s but as yet we have not received a response.
