Dear Editor
For the past three weeks, I have duly paid my £1 fee to park in the swimming pool car park. On each visit I have noticed an increasing number of traveller caravans, work vans, generators and wires snaking across the car park.
Last Saturday, at least ten parking spaces were covered by an assortment of vehicles, including in one of the coach spaces. No parking fee tickets were displayed. There was also a quantity of washing, duvets and other clothing spread across the dividing fence between the council car park and Aldi.
Parked in the other coach space was a very fancy tourist bus which presumably had brought a number of visitors to Ross. I wonder what their first impression was? Are we trying to attract tourists to our market town?
When are the council/police going to do something about this?
