Madam, This season of goodwill, the matter of dog waste is still evidently a vexed and, to some evidently, a confusing one.At our own home we are impressed at the control (of dog) if not the intent (of owner) to find, on two sequential days, some not so little 'presents' left, precisely outside our door.

Meanwhile, as the attached photo shows, we remain intrigued at the mindset of other owners who, having completed the more onerous aspect of their civic duty, decided to leave it, literally, at that. Remember, a dog is for not just for Christmas... but neither for using other people's pathways as a toilet.
