Hollow Ash Shepherd Huts of Broad Oak, have had a busy time at Hay Festival. Slap bang in the middle of the Festival site in prime location, it was used as the press interview room. In previous years yurts have been used. This year however, the Shepherd Hut was the interview space of choice.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Rowan Williams, was one amongst many speakers at the event to be interviewed in the Shepherd's Hut. Its layer of sheep's wool in the walls, floor and ceiling offers excellent sound insulation, making an ideal space for those intimate and revelatory chats.

Jesse Norman and Maureen Lipman were also interviewed in the Shepherd Hut.
