Groups of children and their parents have been taking part in Ross-on-Wye’s Odd Object competition, in a lead up to the Carnival, which will take place on Saturday, August 6th.

Lots of shop owners in the town centre have included an odd object in their window displays, for visitors to identify. The Carnival committee is very grateful to all the town’s traders who have placed an unusual object in their window, each year they get harder to find.

To take part in the Odd Object competition pick up a special leaflet at Lucas Motorcycles, Made in Ross at the Market House, the Corn Exchange in High Street, or Ross Library.

The Carnival committee would also like as many shops as possible to dress their windows with colourful carnival inspired items to make the town part of the event, when the floats tour the town before arriving at the Carnival field.
