A very special sponsored Sports Fitness Challenge took place at Goodrich and Whitchurch Primary Schools last Thursday, October 18th.

The event was conducted in the enthusiastic presence of international 200 metres athlete, Christian Malcolm, who has participated in the last 4 Olympic Games including London 2012.

Christian delighted all pupils by allowing each to have a photograph taken with him as well as signing as many autographs as required.

He also participated in a 'Question & Answer' Assembly at the end of the Fitness Challenge at both schools, demonstrating some of his own fitness routines by getting senior staff at both Goodrich and Whitchurch to join him.
