ON March 12th the team of runners representing Ashfield Park School travelled to Eastnor Castle near Ledbury to compete in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire schools orienteering championship. Competing in the very competitive year six boys category on the White grade course were George James, George Nicolson, Ben Murphy and Oliver Dewar.
After a strong run from all the boys on a perfect dry sunny morning, George Nicolson came home first in class, George James 13th, Oliver Dewar 14th and Ben Murphy 24th out of a competitive field of 48 in class from all over the two counties. Well done to all.
