UPDATE: The police confirmed that the road was clear by 1.50pm on Wednesday, April 3rd.

The police were called at 10.55am to reports of an overturned caravan blocking both lanes of the A40 at Pencraig.

A black Kia was pulling the caravan but no other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported. -A collision on the B4164 at about 11am this morning, Wednesday, May 3rd, has led to a closed lane and traffic moving very slowly from Monmouth to Ross-on-Wye, according to the RAC website.

A witness has said that they think the delays are due to an overturned caravan in the 50 mile per hour zone at Pencraig.
