Lisa Fisher gave the ladies of Penyard Probus Club a most interesting and informative talk entitled, ‘Empowering through Colour and Style.’ Using the House of Colour swatches, colour wheel and various accessories, she showed the ladies how they could make life-changing benefits to their appearance. House of Colour has been awarded the gold standard ‘Investors in People’ and an intensive training programme in understanding the science of colour.

Lisa explained to the group the power of colour can make a big difference instantly to your well-being, making you feel good about yourself. Shopping becomes easier as you know which colour suits you best and your wardrobe is perfectly co-ordinated.

She told the group that they should never stress about packing for a holiday as clothes should all mix and match in the same quadrant of the colour wheel, and shopping for clothes is made so much easier as you go straight to the colour in your range. No more money is wasted on sale bargains hung up in the wardrobe and never worn. Apparently your best colours never change and stay with you for your lifetime.

Lisa told the ladies that red is the best colour for everyone as it has many hues, and chosen correctly will suit all complexions and ages. Richard Branson’s Virgin Airlines chose red for the staff uniforms for this reason.

The members of Penyard Probus Club were suitably impressed and are planning new wardrobes.

Retired ladies are very welcome to join this friendly group which meets on the second Friday of the month at Castle Lodge Hotel for informative talks and lovely lunches.
