Joyce Thomas and Marie Ward were out and about in Ross-on-Wye on Thursday, February 28th, gathering support for Councillor Harry Bramer’s campaign to protect The Chase Hotel from redevelopment.

After nearly three decades of running the Chase Hotel, the owners, Camanoe Estates Limited have taken the decision to close the hotel to guests on September 30th, 2019.

The news surprised many local residents. The Mayor of Ross, Councillor Bramer, approved Joyce Thomas’ petition to ‘save The Chase Hotel from redevelopment, either by the current owners or the new management’.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
