CCTV pictures of a vehicle used by a man who is alleged to have filled up with petrol and then left without paying have been released by police.

The first incident happened at around 6.15am on November 15th when £72.22 worth of unleaded fuel was stolen from Bennetts of Ross garage in Wilton.

The second offence happened at around 6.35am on the same day when £55.47 worth of unleaded fuel was poured into containers from Ross Spur garage on Ledbury Road by someone who then left without paying.

The vehicle used in both offences was a blue Mondeo (pictured) displaying plates stolen from a Vauxhall Astra overnight in Ruardean. One distinguishing feature of the Mondeo is that it has a tow bar.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the man in the picture or the identity of the owner of the Mondeo. Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting reference 585S 151113 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
