Have you taken a great photograph this summer which could be used to promote tourism in the county?
Visit Worcestershire and Visit Herefordshire have teamed up to launch the Tourism Photo Competition 2017, and keen photographers are invited to take part.
Entries will be featured across both the Visit Worcestershire and Visit Herefordshire social media pages and upcoming promotional material for guides of the two counties.
There are ten categories available for participants to submit entries to, including; History & Heritage, The Great Outdoors, Festivals & Events, Local Life, Activities & Adventures, Food & Drink, Wildlife, Secret Places, Rivers & Waterways, Hospitality & Conference/Special Events.
There will be a ‘Top Ten Photographs’ from each county, with one overall winner from Herefordshire and Worcestershire selected from a public vote.
Each winner will receive a fantastic prize, kindly presented by Visit Worcestershire and Visit Herefordshire Members.
The Worcestershire winner will receive one night’s dinner with bed & breakfast for two people, including use of the spa facilities, at The Bank House Hotel in Worcester.
Herefordshire’s winning photographer will receive two guest day passes at Wye Leisure for use of the gym, spa and pool facilities.
In addition, The Green Man will offer a one night stay, including breakfast, and Goodrich Castle will offer two entry tickets to this historic castle.
The winners’ photographs will be shared on Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s website, and in the January/February edition of the Chamber’s business magazine, Business Direction.
Entries must be high resolution, and include the location and a caption. They are limited to five per person and should be emailed before 4pm on Friday, October 27th to [email protected]
Images will be shortlisted in-house, and a public vote on the Top Ten Photographs will reveal the overall winner from each county.
