Madam, Most dog owners are responsible and clear up after their canine family members but unfortunately there are still a few who don't. On Monday I met a resident who was very upset because her granddaughter had just walked through a pile of poo in her brand new shoes. The muck had even got onto her socks. How disgusting for her. There are bins throughout the town to put dog mess in so no excuses. This incident happened on the path that leads from Archenfield Road through to Roman Way. The schools go back this week and we should encourage as many children as possible to safely walk to school so could I ask those dog owners that don't currently clear up after their pooches do so.
