The first Ross Christmas Shopping Festival was a great success and hundreds of people in and around the town enjoyed the music, market stalls and special offers that the independent traders were offering.

The event was organised by the Association of Ross Traders in connection with Ross in Bloom. ART chairman Richard Mayo said: "There was a real Christmassy feel around the town and most shops had an excellent trading day with lots of positive feedback from customers saying that Ross should have more events like this."
